Oh Me-Oh My!!!
Can you believe that the month of March is nearly gone?!?!?! And I haven't posted almost a single thing! It's been one dandy of a month!
The biggest change for the J K L and L is that we moved into our new house! What an experience that was! Wow! Who knew that one family could have so much stuff! Yes, stuff...things... items...okay...crud! Oh my! We made the transition though! It took Two Men and A Truck to do the heavy lifting but everything is here! And we are getting settled! The girls think it's absolutely great! They are allowed to go up and down stairs on their own...even though they still ask if it's okay! They have 2 play rooms and a bedroom...spoiled! That's how much stuff twins require! Or any child for that matter!
Living here in DeWitt has been nice. It's one minute from child care, 10 minutes from my work, and 3 minutes from Josh's work! And not to mention that Bigby's cofffee is right across the street!!! We hosted Easter Dinner here too! That event pushed us along to get things done here at the house! Most things were in place and we even poked holes in the walls! Yikes! The event was lovely and my Grandpa even experienced my vegetarian/gluten free/soy milk/egg substitute casserole! (Ahh, the life of Kristin!)
As for Leah and Riley things are going along swimmingly! Riley is consistently going to therapies with her and helping Leah's language to explode! Leah is now spontaneously putting together two-word utterances because of the therapies that Riley has been attending at Sparrow. They have been working on items like "Riley sit", "Riley fetch". "Riley's tail", etc. She's now carrying over into her daily life!!! AMEN! OT is going well too. She is beginning to "poke" and "scoop" food and feed them to Riley and later to herself! The journey continues though!
The girls were also enrolled for preschool for the fall! They will be attending Prime Time here in DeWitt! Can you believe Preschool???? Oh my! My babies are big girls!
Happy Spring!

This is Tod and Cindy Clark from Hastings, MI. We adopted are girl Katie through Adoption Associates about the same time you did.
We ran into Erin Wolters last night at a reconnect meeting and she gave us your blogspot site.
It turns out we have some things in common. Katie also has sensory issues. Mostly language delay and some coordination issues. We too have her in therapy and are struggling to make it work.
One question we have is how you were able to qualify for a therapy dog. Katie becomes a different child in the presence of dogs and we would like to have a dog BUT one than can help develop. Your case is the first that we have heard of.
There are so many other questions. Please write us back at veritas_945@yahoo.com and maybe we can clear our schedules enough to meet face to face in Dewitt. By the way, congrats on the new house.
God bless.
Tod, Cindy and Katie Clark
