The Day Has Finally Come...

Have you ever woke up one morning and you say, "Finally, everything just feels right in my life!!"???? Well, today is it for me! Mark this day as a day in history for Kristin Sea-Pontius Knight...Life Feels Right...Life Feels Good!!! Why, you may ask? Let me explain!

First of all, I'm settled about work. I've had a lot to think about with my job and I have made some tough decisions. Today is the day that I am settled and confident about those decisions. Not only that it is right for me, but also for Josh and the girls!

Second, Leah's education is finally going in the right direction. I wouldn't say (can't say) that the school district administrators are on board with the intervention (ABA) that we are using with Leah, but her special needs classroom teacher seems great, her speech therapist is great, her clinical OT in Battle Creek is awesome, her private preschool staff is so excellent, and we now have two home ABA tutors that work with Leah here to provide therapy to her in the manner that works for her! Haha, but both of their name's are Miss Kate! That was easy to teach! Also, we are bringing in a nationally known BCBA (guru of ABA) to our home on Saturday to be sure that we are on the right track with the programming. Today is the day that I know that Leah will be all that she can be because of the profound and wonderful experiences that we are giving her each and everyday!

Third, we've begun the task of reestablishing contact with the girls' foster family in Guatemala! Mama Karla and Papa Isai were contacted by our good friend that lives in Guatemala, at our request, and they would LOVE to have contact with us! We are thrilled at this opportunity to bring our girls' culture back to them and let Leah and Logan know that Guatemala is a place to cherish...and people in Guatemala love them!!! Today is the day that I know that Logan and Leah are loved by so many more people, than I ever knew!!!

It is today that I know that God is good!
